• Unit: 1 South Med Surg (medical-surgical inpatient unit)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel Assignment
• Start Date: May 4, 2026
• End Date: August 3, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — Night Shift RN
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 – $1,770

Job Requirements (Qualifications)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or compact RN license
• BLS (AHA) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience in an acute care or inpatient setting (required)
• Recent travel nurse experience or prior traveler assignments (preferred)
• Submission of work history, skills checklist (current to 1 year), and two supervisory reference forms (within the last two years)

Responsibilities (Med/Surg RN Duties)

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs for medical-surgical inpatients
• Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications safely (medication administration)
• Change dressings, provide wound care, insert and manage catheters, and start and manage IVs (IV therapy)
• Adjust, troubleshoot, and monitor specialized medical equipment as needed for patient care
• Interpret and record patient measurements, clinical observations, and reporting of adverse reactions
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and charting in the electronic medical record (EMR)
