• Shift: 12-hour nights (3x12 hour shifts per week) — Night Shift RN
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 – $1,990 (Competitive travel nurse pay)

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-appropriate credentialing for Michigan)
• BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• Minimum of 1 year of bedside clinical experience (2 years highly desired)
• Previous LTAC or acute care experience preferred — long-term acute care nursing experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for LTAC patients
• Provide clinical oversight and supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the medical record
• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and patient rehabilitation programs to support recovery
• Initiate discharge planning and provide patient/family education beginning at admission
• Promote and maintain patient and staff safety in accordance with hospital policies and LTAC standards
• Communicate changes in patient status to the care team and seek consultation as needed
• Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary staff and contribute to a positive team environment
• Identify opportunities for professional growth and pursue continuing education to advance clinical skills
