• Facility Setting: Operating Room (11 ORs, 60–70 staff)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026)
• Shift: 09:30-22:00 (12 Hour Days)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 – $1,730 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• EMR: Meditech
• Scrubs: Provided

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (state requirements for travel nurse assignments)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative nurse / surgical nurse)
• Experience as an OR circulator required
• Strong experience with orthopedic trauma (Ortho trauma) cases
• Ability to function independently on crani (craniotomy) procedures
• Scrub experience is a plus (scrub tech / perioperative scrub)
• Excellent teamwork, adaptability, and a positive, professional attitude

Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist in a broad range of surgical procedures including Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Spine, Urology, Vascular, and Robotic-assisted cases
• Support robotic surgery platforms such as DaVinci and navigation systems like Mazor when required
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a safe, sterile OR environment and adhere to facility and infection control protocols
• Operate and support advanced OR equipment (Jackson table, fracture bed, and specialty surgical instrumentation)
• Document perioperative patient care accurately in Meditech EMR
• Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism in a fast-paced, team-oriented surgical environment
