Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 15, 2026 – July 15, 2026)
- Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Adult Medical-Surgical Unit
- Location: Aberdeen, WA (Grays Harbor County) — Washington travel nursing
- Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15), every other weekend off
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 – $2,030
- Type: Travel, On-site – travel nursing job, clinical nursing role
- Opportunities: Ability to pick up extra shifts (overtime/extra availability)
Travel Nurse Job Requirements
- Active RN license in Washington State or valid multi-state (compact) nursing license with required verifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience in an adult medical-surgical or acute care setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Completion of approved 6-hour suicide prevention training
- Verification of demographics from Nursys
- Familiarity with Meditech EHR is helpful but not required
- Team player with flexibility to float to other departments as needed (cross-training/float pool experience a plus)
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult patients on the Med/Surg unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; administer medications and monitor patient status
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) and maintain clinical compliance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to optimize patient outcomes
- Float to other departments in rotation as needed to support unit staffing and patient care
- Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety protocols
