• Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Adult Medical-Surgical Unit
• Location: Aberdeen, WA (Grays Harbor County) — Washington travel nursing
• Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15), every other weekend off
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 – $2,030
• Type: Travel, On-site – travel nursing job, clinical nursing role
• Opportunities: Ability to pick up extra shifts (overtime/extra availability)

Travel Nurse Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Washington State or valid multi-state (compact) nursing license with required verifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience in an adult medical-surgical or acute care setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Completion of approved 6-hour suicide prevention training
• Verification of demographics from Nursys
• Familiarity with Meditech EHR is helpful but not required
• Team player with flexibility to float to other departments as needed (cross-training/float pool experience a plus)

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult patients on the Med/Surg unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; administer medications and monitor patient status
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) and maintain clinical compliance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to optimize patient outcomes
• Float to other departments in rotation as needed to support unit staffing and patient care
• Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety protocols
