Job Details
- Location: Lebanon, NH 03756 – Upper Valley community with outdoor recreation and a welcoming atmosphere (New Hampshire nursing jobs, Lebanon healthcare).
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 5/11/2026 – End: 8/8/2026)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 – $2,370 (competitive travel nurse pay)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
- Shift: 11.5-hour shifts (Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM or Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Unit: Neuro Special Care Unit / Progressive Care Unit (10 beds) — neuro nursing, neurology, and post-surgical care focus
- On-Call: Yes
Qualifications & Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state requirements apply)
- Minimum 1 year recent PCU, progressive care, or Neuro Special Care experience (PCU RN, Neuro RN, progressive care nurse)
- Proficiency with arterial lines, ventriculostomies, subdural drains, and lumbar drains
- Experience with hemodynamic and invasive blood pressure monitoring
- Familiarity with BiPAP/CPAP, trach CPAP patients on ventilators, low-dose pressors, vasoactive medications, and inotropes
- Ability to manage complex wounds and post-surgical lines/tubes/drains
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate progressive care and neuro nursing for patients with neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, TBI, spinal cord injuries, and post-surgical needs
- Monitor and manage arterial lines, ventriculostomies, subdural and lumbar drains with critical care attention
- Administer and titrate vasoactive medications, low-dose pressors, and inotropes per unit protocols
- Provide respiratory support, including BiPAP/CPAP and trach CPAP for ventilated patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case management) to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
