We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Travel RN) for a 13-week assignment at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Lebanon, NH. This travel nursing job is ideal for ER nurses who thrive on trauma care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and night-shift experience.
Job Details
- Location: Lebanon, NH 03756 (Upper Valley, New Hampshire)
- Position: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse / ER RN / Travel RN
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (5/26/2026 – 8/22/2026)
- Setting: Emergency Department – Level 1 Trauma Center
- Shift: 11.5-hour nights (19:00 – 07:00), D/N rotation or mids/nights only
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (travel nursing job, short-term)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or Compact RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center or equivalent
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- ICU and pediatric experience preferred (strongly desired for trauma/ED care)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to diverse patients in a fast-paced trauma center
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care using established ED and trauma protocols
- Rapidly respond to emergency situations, including trauma resuscitations and critical interventions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered and document care accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
- Support and educate patients and families during acute and critical events
- Maintain accurate patient records, handoffs, and documentation compliant with hospital policies
