• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour nights; will float as needed)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (Telemetry, cardiac monitoring)
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• First-time travel nurses welcome — great Sioux City nursing jobs for new travelers
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
• Submission materials required: Driver’s license, work history/resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, required certifications, and one supervisory reference

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside nursing care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients on the Neuro-Ortho unit
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring, assess and document changes in patient condition, and respond to telemetry alerts
• Collaborate with physicians, RRTs, therapists, and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR and maintain clear communication with nursing leadership
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to meet unit standards
