- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour nights; will float as needed)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (Telemetry, cardiac monitoring)
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred

- Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
- Submission materials required: Driver’s license, work history/resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, required certifications, and one supervisory reference
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality bedside nursing care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients on the Neuro-Ortho unit
- Perform continuous cardiac monitoring, assess and document changes in patient condition, and respond to telemetry alerts
- Collaborate with physicians, RRTs, therapists, and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR and maintain clear communication with nursing leadership
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
- Participate in orientation and ongoing training to meet unit standards
