Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
- Location: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU IV), Danville, PA (17822) — Travel Nurse assignment
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 9, 2026)
- Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Shift Times: Day/Night rotation (0700-1930 & 1900-0730); minimum 4 nights in 4 weeks
- Weekend/Holiday Coverage: 24 hours of Friday time and 36 hours of Saturday/Sunday time in 4 weeks; every other holiday during contract
- Type: Travel, On-Site — NICU Registered Nurse, Neonatal RN
Job Requirements
- Active RN license (state of practice required; compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required (Level III/IV experience preferred)
- Ability to work both day and night shifts as scheduled and provide weekend/holiday coverage
- Willingness to float to PICU or provide 1:1 patient care as needed
- Certifications preferred: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS; PALS or other pediatric certifications a plus
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to neonates in a Level IV NICU setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and manage ventilators and advanced neonatal support as appropriate
- Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Provide compassionate family-centered care and education to parents and caregivers
- Maintain accurate documentation, follow hospital protocols, and support quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in day/night rotations, weekend, and holiday coverage and float to PICU or provide 1:1 care when needed
