Job Details

• Location: Warrensville Heights, OH 44122 — Suburban setting with easy access to Cleveland attractions; ideal for Ohio travel nurse candidates and ER nurses seeking Cleveland-area opportunities.
• Assignment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse (ER Travel RN)
• Unit: Emergency Department (ED) — ICU/ED standard extension
• Shift: Night Shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/31/2026 – End: 8/30/2026)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 – $1,650 (competitive pay for ER travel nurses)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Emergency Department RN experience required prior to travel assignments
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission (Ohio nursing jobs eligibility)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross (must be active at time of submission)
• TNCC certification preferred
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the ER specialty required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Ability to work at least every other holiday during the contract

Emergency Department Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department (ED nursing, emergency care)
• Assess, triage, and manage patients with a wide range of acute, critical, and emergent conditions
• Stabilize and prioritize care for trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and medical-surgical emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams — physicians, techs, and specialty services — to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered; maintain safe medication administration and documentation
• Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Participate in orientation, ongoing ED education, competency assessments, and required hospital training
• Maintain compliance with all hospital, state, and federal regulatory requirements
