Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) / perioperative experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Strong clinical skills, sterile technique, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with multidisciplinary surgical teams
• CNOR or other perioperative certification preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures as an OR nurse and perioperative clinician
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams across specialties including Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute, Pediatric PACU, and Pediatric OR
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and implement appropriate interventions
• Maintain a sterile environment, follow infection control practices, and adhere to safety protocols
• Document perioperative patient care accurately and promptly in the medical record
• Collaborate with surgical techs, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing leadership to ensure optimal patient outcomes
