• Setting: Emergency Department (Med-Surg position in the ED; Emergency Room / ED nurse)
• Start Date: April 14, 2026
• End Date: July 6, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night Shift — 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
• EMR: Epic (Epic Systems experience required)

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (ED nurse, triage, high-acuity patient care)
• Epic EMR experience required (documentation and charting in Epic Systems)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts as a Night Shift RN
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and rapid triage skills
• Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
• Must provide own navy blue scrubs

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department (ED)
• Perform comprehensive assessments, triage, and implement appropriate interventions for medical and trauma patients
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document all patient care accurately and timely in Epic EMR
• Respond promptly to emergencies, codes, and provide life-saving interventions as needed
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and clean ED environment in accordance with hospital policies and New York healthcare regulations
