Job Details / Travel Nurse Summary

• Location: Albany, NY 12208 (Albany, New York; local candidates and travel nurses welcome)
• Role: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care Nurse / ICU RN
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – July 8, 2026)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 – $2,370 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: Level I Trauma ICU (trauma, surgical, neurological ICU)
• EMR: Epic (Epic EMR experience required)
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required

Travel Nurse Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (New York State or compact license, or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience caring for trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
• Trauma Level I ICU experience required
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Competency test must be completed within 24 hours of submission
• Ability to wear navy blue scrubs
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required

Primary Responsibilities – ICU RN / Critical Care Nurse

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment using Epic
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient status in a Level I Trauma Center
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and adherence to hospital policies and safety protocols
• Support effective handoffs and communication to ensure continuity of care during night shifts
