• Location: 43 New Scotland Ave, Albany, NY 12208 – New York travel nursing opportunity at a centrally located medical center, surrounded by Albany’s vibrant downtown, historic sites, and easy access to the scenic beauty of upstate New York.
• Setting: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Start Date: May 18, 2026
• End Date: July 27, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 – $2,130 (competitive travel nurse pay)

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (New York State or compact eligible)
• Minimum 1 year of recent PICU experience required
• Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience required (Pediatric cardiac ICU / PCCU experience)
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Navy blue scrubs required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU as a Pediatric ICU RN
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized, family-centered care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced interventions per provider orders
• Support and educate patients’ families throughout the care process and discharge planning
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and pediatric critical care safety standards
