• Location: Stuart, FL 34994 (Treasure Coast, Martin County)
• Position: Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Cath Lab RN) / Travel Nurse
• Assignment Type: Travel Contract – 13 weeks
• Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care • Teaching Hospital
• Start Date: May 18, 2026
• End Date: August 17, 2026
• Shift: 4 x 10-hour days (07:00 - 17:30), 40 hours/week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• On-call: Required (participate in cath lab on-call rotation)
• Floating: May float to facilities within 20 miles (Martin North, South, Tradition)
• Charting/EHR: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Ceil Blue
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space

Job Requirements (Qualifications)

• Minimum 18 months of recent Cath Lab RN / cardiac catheterization experience required (2 years preferred)
• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license for the United States
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required at time of submission)
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record (EPIC charting)
• Nicotine-free: negative 10-panel + nicotine drug screen required
• COVID-19 and seasonal Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Ability to float to multiple hospital locations within a 20-mile radius as needed
• Complete time-sensitive orientation modules prior to start (avg. 6–15 hours, non-billable)
• Successful completion of EKG and Pharmacology competency tests during orientation (2 attempts max each)
• Submit all requested time-off with application
• First-time travel nurses are welcome — travel nursing support provided

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Prepare patients and monitor clinical status before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation and related medications per protocol
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias in the cath lab setting
• Assist with left and right heart catheterizations, pulmonary artery (Swan-Ganz) monitoring, and other specialized cardiac procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (cardiologists, technologists, anesthesia) to deliver excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC
• Participate in on-call rotation and float to other hospital locations as required
• Follow hospital policies, compliance standards, and cath lab safety protocols
