- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 – $2,040 (pay for travel RN jobs in Columbus, OH)
- Patient Ratios: 1:3 (estimated)
- Weekend and rotating holidays required

Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg experience required (medical-surgical nurse or telemetry experience)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — compact RN license accepted or Ohio RN license in hand at submission
- BLS certification required; ACLS/NIHSS if available preferred
- EPIC charting experience required (electronic medical record proficiency)
- Strong IV start, IV therapy, and telemetry monitoring skills required
- Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leader)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Previous travel nurse experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with varied medical and surgical conditions (medical-surgical RN duties)
- Monitor and interpret telemetry, recognize arrhythmias, and escalate concerns to providers
- Initiate and manage IVs, administer medications including drips (heparin, insulin), and manage central and peripheral lines
- Perform phlebotomy, provide wound care, tracheostomy care, and manage feeding tubes
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy (PT), respiratory therapy (RT), pharmacy, and social services
- Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed within the organization
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
- Utilize ergonomic equipment, bladder scanners, and EKG machines as needed
