• Assignment Type: Travel RN, On-site
• Unit: 23 North W&I Labor & Delivery (Level 4 L&D)
• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• End Date: August 31, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 3 x 12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30), 36 hours/week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 – $2,160 (travel nursing pay)
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Orientation: 36 hours

Required Qualifications & Certifications — Labor and Delivery RN

• Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (L&D nurse, maternity nurse, postpartum nurse)
• Active RN license: compact or Ohio RN license required at submission (Columbus, OH)
• Graduate of ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• NCC C-EFM accepted in lieu of AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• EPIC charting experience required (EPIC electronic health record)
• IV start skills and core L&D competencies required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred (travel RN, contract RN)
• Provide 2 professional references (at least one manager/director or formal leader)
• Ability to float to other units within the organization as needed
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Key Responsibilities — L&D Nurse

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to laboring patients and families in a high-volume, Level 4 L&D unit
• Perform and document assessments, interventions, and evaluations for neonates, adolescents, and adults
• Administer medications and therapies, including IV starts, magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, and blood products
• Support and assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and high-risk antepartum care
• Utilize and interpret fetal monitoring (external and internal), identify dysrhythmias, and respond to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Provide breastfeeding/lactation support and comprehensive postpartum care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: IV team, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health record
• Float to antepartum or other units as required to support patient care
