Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nurse in Scottsbluff, NE. 13-week Med/Surg travel assignment, Night Shift. Active RN and 1+ year Med/Surg experience required.

Job Details
- Location: Scottsbluff, NE 69361 (Scottsbluff, Nebraska)
- Assignment Type: Travel Nurse (13-week travel assignment)
- Unit: Adult Med/Surg (Medical-Surgical)
- Shift: Varied (primarily Night Shift, 6p-6a; 12-hour rotating shifts; 3 shifts per week)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
- Start Date: 4/16/2026
- End Date: 7/16/2026
Requirements / Qualifications
- Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience (medical-surgical or acute care)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Ability to adapt to varied shifts and a fast-paced hospital environment
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on the Medical-Surgical unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and progress
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case management) to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and post-discharge care
- Maintain a safe, patient-centered environment and follow infection control and safety protocols
