Job Details
- Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84124 (Salt Lake City nursing jobs / Utah travel nursing)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: May 11, 2026 – End: August 10, 2026)
- Position: Travel Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care Dialysis / Hemodialysis Nurse
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour day shifts
- Schedule: 3–4 days per week (guaranteed 36 hours/week), probable overtime
- On-Call: 1–2 calls per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license (UT or compact license accepted as applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care dialysis or hemodialysis nursing experience
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Excellent communication, patient advocacy, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based dialysis treatments for acute care patients (hemodialysis and related renal therapies)
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after dialysis procedures; identify and respond to complications
- Collaborate with physicians, nephrology teams, and interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner per hospital policy
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to dialysis-related emergencies as scheduled
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and maintain professional standards
