• Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel / Contract
• Location: Harrison Township, NJ 08062 (South Jersey; near Philadelphia)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 48 (full-time travel nurse schedule)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,790 – $2,930
• Start Date: May 11, 2026
• Shift: Variable; weekends required every other or 3 per month (based on departmental needs)
• Work Setting: On-site, Emergency Department (ED) / Acute Care

Required Qualifications (ER RN / ED Nurse)

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• At least one completed travel nursing contract required (travel nurse experience preferred)
• High-volume, fast-paced ED experience preferred
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license accepted
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS (valid at submission; no pending or expiring within 30 days)
• Ability to complete full orientation as scheduled (no rescheduling permitted)
• Maximum of 3 requested days off (RTO) allowed; no block scheduling or special time-off requests

Primary Responsibilities (Emergency Department RN)

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to adult and/or pediatric patients in a busy Emergency Department
• Rapidly assess, triage, and manage acute, emergent, and critical patient conditions
• Provide advanced clinical interventions per ED protocols and collaborate with emergency physicians, PAs, and multidisciplinary teams
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Participate fully in orientation, departmental training, and required HealthStream modules
• Adhere to hospital policies including timely badge acquisition, infection control, and patient safety protocols
