Job Details — Travel Mammography Technologist

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 – $1,970
• Location: Cincinnati, Ohio (45236)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 5/11/2026 – End: 8/8/2026)
• Setting: On-site at Women's Center and Mobile Mammography units
• Shifts: Day shifts (8-hour shifts: 6:30a-3p, 7a-3:30p, 7:30a-4p; mobile van hours may vary, typically 9–10 hours: 6:45a-4p)
• Hours per Week: 36–40
• Positions Available: 2 Mammography Technologists (Travel)

Job Requirements — Mammography Tech Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a registered Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with mammography experience (preferred)
• ARRT Mammography certification and registration preferred upon hire or must obtain within six months
• State licensure as required by the state where the service is performed (Ohio licensure preferred if required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association — required prior to direct patient care
• Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited program preferred
• Ability to independently perform screening and diagnostic mammograms and DEXA scans
• Knowledge of quality control (QC) procedures and regulatory standards for breast imaging
• Stereotactic biopsy and invasive breast procedure assistance experience preferred
• Willingness to rotate on mobile mammography vans (typically once or twice weekly)

Responsibilities — Breast Imaging & Mobile Mammography

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography and DEXA procedures according to established protocols
• Operate and select appropriate breast imaging equipment and associated devices to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Assist radiologists with invasive breast procedures, maintaining aseptic technique and proper patient consent
• Apply appropriate radiographic exposure factors and radiation protection principles to minimize patient and staff exposure
• Document and correlate patient clinical history for use by licensed providers and radiologists
• Provide patient education, pre- and post-procedure instructions, and compassionate patient care focused on women's health
• Participate in departmental quality assessment, maintenance of QC logs, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Float between the Women's Center and mobile units as required to support community mammography services
