- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with rotating weekends
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 – $1,650 (competitive travel nursing pay)
Med/Surg RN Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience (Med/Surg RN experience preferred)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification required
- Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility)
Responsibilities – Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult patients on the Med/Surg unit (clinical assessment and monitoring)
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following medication safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
- Float to other units as needed to support patient care across the facility
