Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – 13-week contract in Harrison Township, NJ (08062). • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,580 – $2,720

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey (NJ RN)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience; OB RN or maternal-child nursing background preferred
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Proficiency with maternal and fetal monitoring (electronic fetal monitoring/EFM) and postpartum care
• Strong clinical assessment skills, medication administration, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced L&D unit

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal heart tracings, and escalate concerns to physicians and midwives as needed
• Administer medications, assist with vaginal deliveries and support cesarean sections as required
• Support newborn transition and initial neonatal care in collaboration with pediatric/neonatal teams
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
• Maintain accurate charting and uphold patient safety and infection control standards in the electronic health record

Preferred Qualifications

• OB certification or advanced maternal-newborn training (preferred)
• Fetal monitoring (FHM) certification or proven competency interpreting EFM
• Experience working with multidisciplinary OB/GYN teams
