Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Ketchum, Idaho. Seeking an experienced perioperative / surgical RN for an 8-week travel nursing assignment (May 11, 2026 – July 6, 2026). Ideal candidates have strong orthopedic OR experience, endoscopy or C-section skills, and travel nursing experience. Job Details – Travel Nurse / OR RN

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500 – $2,630
• Assignment Duration: 8 weeks (May 11, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
• Location: Ketchum, Idaho (Zip: 83340) – Idaho travel nursing opportunity in a resort town near Sun Valley
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Surgical Services (Operating Room, Floor 2)
• Shift: 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 07:00–15:30, with weeknight and weekend call requirements
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call Requirements: Must be able to respond within 30 minutes while on call

Travel OR RN Qualifications / Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room RN experience with a strong orthopedic background (total joints, sports medicine, trauma)
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Endoscopy experience or C-section (OB) experience required
• Active RN license (state of Idaho or multistate compact license as applicable)
• BLS Certification required; ACLS recommended
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and TDOC instrument tracking preferred

Key Responsibilities – Surgical / Perioperative Nurse

• Provide perioperative nursing care as an OR RN across a variety of surgical cases: orthopedics (total joints, sports medicine, hands, trauma), general surgery, gynecology, C-sections, and endoscopy
• Assist in robotic-assisted and minimally invasive procedures when applicable
• Collaborate with CSTs, surgical techs, orderlies, anesthesia, and post-anesthesia teams to ensure efficient room turnover and safe patient care
• Participate in cleaning, turnover, and instrument management of OR suites, using TDOC when available
• Respond to call requirements and maintain readiness to report within 30 minutes during assigned call shifts
• Complete unit-specific orientation with a preceptor and adhere to unit norms, hospital policies, and perioperative standards
• Adhere to surgical services attire policy and wear provided blue scrubs
