Job Requirements
- Active RN license (state of practice required)
- Labor & Delivery / L&D RN experience required (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and busy obstetrics caseloads
- Must meet onboarding health and competency requirements (drug screen, immunizations, background check)
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to laboring mothers, birthing patients, and newborns
- Perform maternal and fetal monitoring including electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and interpretation
- Support labor management, assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean procedures as needed, and provide immediate postpartum care
- Perform neonatal assessment and stabilization; participate in neonatal resuscitation when required
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, neonatal staff, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe outcomes
- Educate and support patients and families throughout prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety and quality standards
