Travel Labor & Delivery RN (Night Shift) – 13-week assignment in Nampa, Idaho (83687). Seeking a skilled L&D Registered Nurse with recent obstetrics experience and current BLS to join a supportive, collaborative Maternal-Newborn team. Setting: Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery Unit (L&D, maternal-newborn care)

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour nights) — Night shift nursing job
Hours per Week: 36
Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 – $2,100

Job Requirements

Active and unrestricted RN license (or eligible for State of Idaho licensure)
Certification or demonstrated competency in Labor & Delivery nursing (L&D certification preferred)
At least 1 year of recent experience in Labor & Delivery or obstetrics nursing
Current BLS certification (AHA)
Ability to complete onboarding requirements, including health screenings and competency testing

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit
Monitor mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and recovery, including fetal monitoring/EFM as applicable
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and follow medication safety protocols
Educate patients and families on the childbirth process, postpartum care, and newborn care
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Respond to emergencies and provide critical care and neonatal stabilization as needed
