• Strong professional work history with no prior terminations/contract cancellations
• Two recent supervisory references required

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic charting experience preferred
• Prior telemetry or progressive care nursing experience

Key Responsibilities — Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients (typical 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio)
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, identify dysrhythmias, and initiate appropriate interventions
• Respond to rapid response and code situations as needed
• Administer medications safely, manage peripheral lines, and provide oxygen therapy (nasal cannula, tanks, non-invasive support)
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols for patient and staff safety
• Float to other Med/Surg Tele units within the health system (Bucyrus & Galion) to maintain hours
• Participate in on-call rotation and arrive on-site within one hour when called
• Complete required orientation and pre-start competency modules
