• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 4x10-hour (06:30 - 17:00); variable shifts may include 8s, 10s, or 12s; required on-call (M-F 21:00-06:30; Sat/Sun 06:30-19:00 & 19:00-06:30); holiday and weekend coverage as needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,280 - $2,400
• Hours Per Week: 40

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN or perioperative nursing experience (OR RN)
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma Centers preferred — trauma OR experience highly valued
• Active Registered Nurse license (compact or Ohio state license required at submission)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required (one must be from a manager, director, or supervisor)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• NIHSS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative and intraoperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties: General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant
• Serve as OR circulator with emphasis on Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in EPIC and follow perioperative protocols and safety standards
• Float to different units within the organization as needed and participate in on-call rotation
• Provide weekend and holiday coverage as required for a Level 1 Trauma Center
