• Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room (ED)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 05/11/2026 – End: 08/10/2026)
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:00); typically three consecutive shifts per week
• Employment Type: Travel, On-site (Travel Nurse / ER RN)
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend (rotating schedule, communicated in advance)

Required Qualifications – ER RN / Emergency Department Nurse

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience or equivalent acute care experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state license
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSS, and TNCC
• COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions)
• At least 1 professional reference from a recent supervisor or clinical lead

Key Responsibilities – Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Department (ED)
• Assess, triage, and treat patients with a wide range of acute and urgent conditions
• Perform emergency interventions, administer medications, and monitor patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, techs, paramedics) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to hospital and ED protocols
• Float to other units as needed and participate in department rotations and scheduled weekend coverage
