Job Requirements

• Active RN license (must be valid for assignment state)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN (ER RN) experience
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA), TNCC
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department and Level IV Trauma Center
• Experience with Allscripts - Sunrise EMR and Omnicell medication system preferred (EMR/charting experience helpful)
• Scrub color: Any color except all black (scrubs not provided)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, neuro, pediatric and general emergency cases
• Manage typical ER nurse patient loads (nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4) and triage acuity effectively
• Provide care in the ED, EDOU observation unit, and fast track areas as needed
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including techs, physician assistants, physicians and ancillary staff
• Document patient care accurately using Allscripts - Sunrise and manage medications with Omnicell
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
