• Shift: 5x8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 – $2,110
• Territory: Up to 75-mile radius from home clinic (mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate)

Required Qualifications — Home Health RN / Travel RN

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York (must have license in hand)
• Minimum 1 year recent adult Home Health or Hospice clinical experience as a Home Health Nurse
• Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Proficiency with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) EMR (used within last 6 months or willing to retrain)
• Proficiency in OASIS documentation (used within last 6 months or willing to retrain)
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance
• Willingness to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic to cover Westchester County
• Ability to complete clinical documentation within 24 hours of patient visit
• Open to on-call and weekend rotation as needed
• Cannot be a current direct employee of any Amedisys location

Key Responsibilities — Homecare Registered Nurse

• Provide skilled home nursing care per physician orders and agency policies as a Home Health RN
• Conduct 5–10 home visits per day (average 6–8 productivity points daily; ~30 points weekly)
• Perform start-of-care visits, comprehensive assessments, wound care, medication management, and skilled nursing interventions
• Supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides and LPNs/LVNs when assigned
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in HCHB and complete required OASIS assessments
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centered care across home health services
• Participate in periodic office meetings and be flexible to float to nearby clinics if patient census requires
• Deliver compassionate, professional patient care in the community setting as part of our homecare team
