Job Details

• Location: Randallstown, Maryland (21133) — near Baltimore; Maryland travel nurse opportunity
• Role: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) / ED Nurse – Travel Nurse (Night Shift)
• Contract Length: 14 weeks
• Start Date: May 11, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:30), 3 shifts per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• Setting: 54-bed Emergency Department, Primary Stroke Center — experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, and behavioral health preferred
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Scrubs: Navy Blue

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience (ED nurse, trauma/critical care experience highly valued)
• Valid Maryland RN license or Compact RN license (active at time of submission)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with Cerner electronic charting system preferred
• Community hospital Emergency Department experience required
• Ability to manage patient ratios of approximately 1:4–6 in a busy ED
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• First-time travel nurses welcome — supportive onboarding for travel nursing jobs

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ED environment
• Perform triage, rapid medical screening, and urgent care interventions consistent with Emergency Department protocols
• Manage diverse emergency presentations, including trauma, stroke, STEMI, and behavioral health crises
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products; provide ventilator and central line care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and IV teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and clinical protocols
• Float within the hospital as needed within scope of practice
