• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour days)

Job Details & Compensation

• On-Call: 7 days on call every other week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,870 – $1,970
• Hours per Week: 40
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Unit Beds: 2
• EMR: MEDHOST and MACLAB

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Texas or compact state) — Registered Nurse (RN) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN / Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Experience with cardiac catheterization, hemodynamic monitoring, sterile technique and radiation safety preferred
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation (7 days every other week)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility)
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with invasive cardiac procedures, diagnostic and interventional cases in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients before, during, and after procedures
• Monitor patient status, interpret hemodynamic data and respond to changes in condition
• Support physicians and the multidisciplinary team in interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in MEDHOST and MACLAB EMR systems
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergent cases as a Cath Lab RN
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for patients and staff; follow infection control and radiation safety protocols
