• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730 – $1,820
• Location: Georgetown, TX 78626 (Central Texas / Austin area)
• Role: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – LDRP, Postpartum, Special Care Nursery
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• On-Site Position: Required

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery or Postpartum RN experience (L&D, Mother/Baby, or Postpartum)
• Active RN license (compact license accepted where applicable)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM
• Experience in LDRP settings, well-baby nursery, or Special Care/Level II NICU preferred
• Positive, friendly attitude with a proactive team approach
• Uniform: Navy blue scrubs required (stork embroidery not required for travelers)
• Clinical documentation experience with GE Centricity/CPN and Meditech EMR preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and infants across a 23-bed unit (12 labor, 11 postpartum)
• Perform L&D clinical procedures including cervical ripening, induction management, MgSO4 administration, and insulin drips
• Manage high-risk maternal patients and support Level II NICU/special care nursery infant care
• Assist with C-sections, tubal ligations, cerclage removals, and care for fetal demise patients as needed
• Deliver mother–baby care, newborn assessments, and well-baby nursery support
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in GE Centricity/CPN & Meditech EMR systems
