• Shift: Monday–Friday, 07:00–15:30 (8-hour days)

Job Requirements – Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or equivalent clinical imaging experience (PET experience preferred)
• Certification: NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience with GE nuclear medicine/PET equipment and MEDITECH documentation system preferred
• Ability to meet state licensure or registration requirements for Virginia, if applicable

Responsibilities – PET / Nuclear Medicine Technologist Duties

• Perform all nuclear medicine and PET/PET-CT exams and procedures according to hospital protocols and radiation safety standards
• Operate GE nuclear medicine and PET/CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare, handle, and document radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately following ALARA principles
• Document patient information, imaging procedures, and results using MEDITECH electronic medical records
• Float between PET and Nuclear Medicine units as workload requires
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care
• Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients and families
