Job Details

• Location: Boston, MA 02215
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 5/11/2026 – End: 8/8/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (every third weekend required)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 – $2,600
• Setting: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) – Level 1 Trauma Center
• Type: Travel Contract / Travel RN / ICU travel nurse
• Orientation: Weekly (every Monday, barring holidays)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent MICU experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center (critical care RN / ICU nurse)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local travelers)
• Must not have worked for the facility in any capacity (travel, perm, per diem) within the past year
• Ability to work every third weekend
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the MICU (critical care nursing)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma environment
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced clinical procedures as needed
• Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery processes, and discharge planning
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards to maintain high-quality patient outcomes
