Job Details
- Location: Boston, MA 02215
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 5/11/2026 – End: 8/8/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (every third weekend required)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 – $2,600
- Setting: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) – Level 1 Trauma Center
- Type: Travel Contract / Travel RN / ICU travel nurse
- Orientation: Weekly (every Monday, barring holidays)
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent MICU experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center (critical care RN / ICU nurse)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
- Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local travelers)
- Must not have worked for the facility in any capacity (travel, perm, per diem) within the past year
- Ability to work every third weekend
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the MICU (critical care nursing)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma environment
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced clinical procedures as needed
- Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery processes, and discharge planning
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards to maintain high-quality patient outcomes
