• Job Title: Endoscopy Registered Nurse (Endoscopy RN) – Travel Nurse
• Location: Rome, NY 13440 (Rome, Central New York / Upstate New York)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,440 – $2,570
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 16, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (4 shifts per week)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call: 6 days of call per month, possible weekend call
• Unit: Endoscopy / GI Procedures (ERCP)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States
• Minimum 1 year of endoscopy nursing experience
• Demonstrated ERCP experience required
• Ability to respond to call rotation and urgent patient needs
• Familiarity with EMR systems; Paragon and Pyxis experience preferred
• Willingness to work within a 30-mile radius rule

Preferred / Additional Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred
• Prior travel nurse or contract experience in endoscopy/GI preferred
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with peri-procedural nursing workflows

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopic procedures including ERCP and other diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures
• Provide comprehensive patient care before, during, and after procedures (pre-procedure assessment, monitoring, recovery)
• Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, general surgeons, anesthesiology, and perioperative staff
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR (Paragon preferred)
• Participate in call rotation and respond promptly to urgent endoscopy cases
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient endoscopy suite environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Support patient education and discharge instructions related to GI procedures
