Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Nurse Nights in Craig, CO (81625). Full-time 12-hour night shift, 13-week travel nursing contract for experienced ED nurses with Colorado RN or Compact licensure. • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130

• Setting: Emergency Room / Emergency Department (ED)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (Night Shift)
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed 32 hours/week)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)

Job Requirements

• Current and active Colorado RN license or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) accepted
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire)
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) (or obtained within 1 year of hire)
• Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) (or obtained within 1 year of hire)
• Current STABLE and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications (or obtained within 1 year of hire)
• Minimum 1 year Emergency Department (ED) or Critical Care nursing experience preferred; 2 years hospital nursing experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency care as an ER RN / Emergency Department nurse: triage, assessment, intervention, and documentation
• Coordinate and implement individualized patient care plans using the nursing process in an acute care/ED environment
• Prioritize and deliver care in a fast-paced ER setting using critical thinking and decisive clinical judgment
• Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and transfer services to ensure timely patient transfers, discharges, and referrals
• Provide patient- and family-centered education tailored to age, culture, and clinical condition
• Delegate tasks to ancillary personnel and precept student nurses and new hires as needed
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional, ethical, and safety standards
• Participate in departmental performance improvement, infection control, and risk management initiatives
