RN Supervisor – Full Time Nights in Penn Yan, NY. Join our long-term care team as a Travel RN Supervisor providing nursing leadership and quality resident care in the scenic Finger Lakes region.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Location: Penn Yan, NY 14527 (Finger Lakes, New York)
• Setting: Long Term Care (LTC) – Travel Nursing Assignment
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel RN)
• Start Date: May 19, 2026
• End Date: August 22, 2026
• Duration: 14 weeks
• Shift: Full Time Nights (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM); every other weekend and holiday availability required
• Shift Length: 8-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 40

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing
• Supervisory experience across multiple nursing units; proven nursing leadership and clinical supervision skills
• Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS certification through AHA or RQI (required during clinical orientation)
• CPI certification (to be obtained within 90 days of hire)
• Familiarity with NYSDOH requirements and long-term care regulations
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Computer literacy and experience with clinical documentation systems

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of nursing units and provide clinical supervision to staff as the Night Shift RN Supervisor
• Ensure quality resident care through hands-on leadership, teaching, and performance coaching
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers to resolve unit issues and improve care processes
• Make administrative and clinical decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing and Administrator during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Model professionalism, effective communication, and a healing environment for staff and residents
• Facilitate clinical management, prioritize multiple tasks, and promote teamwork across nursing units
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols, infection control standards, and NYSDOH regulations
