• Weekly Estimated Pay (Travel RN): $1,460 – $1,540
• Contract Duration: 12 weeks (May 13, 2026 – August 5, 2026)
• Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 – 07:15)
• Hours per Week: Option of 36 or 48 hours
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN
• Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) – Floor 7
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Valid Kansas (KS) or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg RN experience required (2 years preferred)
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) preferred
• Telemetry experience preferred — ability to manage stable remote telemetry patients
• Comfort floating to similar units within scope of practice
• Typical patient ratio experience: 5–6 patients per nurse

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality Med/Surg nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse medical conditions
• Monitor and manage stable remote telemetry patients (not on cardiac drips)
• Administer medications, blood products, and manage IVs and infusions
• Provide wound care, feeding tube management, and colostomy/ileostomy care
• Follow isolation precautions and use PPE appropriately
• Float to like units as needed to support staffing and patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Work to coordinate patient care
• Participate in orientation, complete required modules, and follow facility policies
• Work weekend shifts as scheduled by the unit
