• Shift: Night – 3x12-hour (18:45 – 07:15), every other weekend required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,750 – $1,840

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license — RN required
• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) experience; travel nurse experience required (no first-time travelers)
• At least 1 year EPIC EMR experience (EPIC documentation required)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (required)
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Comfortable with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Willingness to float to other units based on facility needs and skill set

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as stroke/TIA, seizure, syncope, pneumonia, chest pain, dialysis needs, acute kidney injury, post-heart cath care, respiratory failure, encephalopathy, CHF, and sepsis
• Manage higher-acuity med/surg telemetry patients and participate in special procedures including peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation
• Administer medications using Omnicell and accurately document all care in EPIC EMR
• Respond as a member of rapid response/code teams when needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV team, PT, RT, pharmacy, social services) to support patient outcomes and safety
• Maintain a strong focus on patient experience, safety, and evidence-based nursing practice
• Float to other units as required by the hospital; demonstrate adaptability across clinical areas
