Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab (diagnostic and interventional).
• RCIS certification required (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• EP experience preferred (electrophysiology skills a plus).
• Ability to take rotating call and float to nearby sister hospital for STEMI coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with right and left heart catheterizations (diagnostic and interventional) and peripheral procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced cath lab equipment, including GE lab systems, Impella, balloon pumps, Penumbra, and IVUS.
• Document procedures accurately using Merge Hemo documentation system.
• Prepare patients, scrub and assist during procedures, monitor hemodynamics, and support patient recovery.
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, nurses, EP staff, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide timely coverage for STEMI activations as required.
