Overview

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Lewes, Delaware (19958). This Med/Surg Telemetry role is ideal for telemetry RNs and PCU nurses with cardiac drip experience who want a travel nursing job in a welcoming beachside community.

Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN
• Location: Lewes, Delaware (19958) — Sussex County, Delaware
• Duration: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980 – $2,080 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• Unit: 3 Hudson MS/Tele Float (Telemetry) — 40-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Weekend Requirement: Every other Friday/Saturday/Sunday
• Floating: As needed (primarily within the unit)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (compact or state-specific as required)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg Telemetry or PCU experience
• Cardiac drip experience required (vasoactive drips, titration, monitoring)
• EPIC charting experience preferred (6 months within the past year); familiarity with Cerner documentation noted for this facility
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit and manage telemetry monitoring
• Monitor and titrate cardiac drips safely according to protocol and physician orders
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
• Float to other units within the facility as required to support patient needs
• Accurate and timely documentation of patient care using the facility's Cerner charting system
• Maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios based on acuity (typically 1:4; may vary to 1:5–1:6)
