• Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts per week; possible weekends and on-call rotation
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Charting System: EPIC (experience preferred)
• Orientation: 3–5 days (scrubs provided)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience required (cardiac cath lab, vascular lab, or EP experience preferred)
• Active Illinois state license or proof of application in process
• Required certifications: ARRT (or equivalent), BLS; IEMA required
• Experience with EPIC, PACS, and McKesson systems preferred
• Pediatric Cath Lab experience a plus but not required
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes (on-call rotation participation required)
• Must pass a comprehensive drug screen (drug-free campus)

Responsibilities

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor hemodynamics during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
• Assist with 10–15 cases per day across 6 suites/labs, supporting cardiologists and the multidisciplinary team
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging and monitoring equipment (fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitors, PACS)
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC and PACS; follow hospital documentation standards
• Participate in a rotating call schedule including weekends and holidays; coordinate with 24/7 on-call cardiologists
• Follow infection control, safety policies, and department protocols in an acute care cardiac setting
