Job Details — OR RN / Travel Nurse

• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing (Travel Nurse)
• Location: Glens Falls, NY 12801 — Adirondack region (New York travel nurse opportunity)
• Setting: Operating Room (14 OR suites); coverage includes Labor & Delivery for C-sections
• Patient Population: Pediatric through Adult
• Start Date: 5/14/2026
• End Date: 8/13/2026 (13 weeks)
• Shift: 12-hour days (11a–11p); approx. 36 hours/week (72 hours bi-weekly)
• On-Call: 1 call per month if needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
• EMR: EPIC (EPIC experience required)
• Orientation: 8 hours orientation

Minimum Qualifications — Operating Room Nurse / Perioperative RN

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York (NY RN)
• New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (required for submission)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (upload with profile)
• Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room RN / perioperative nursing experience
• Experience across vascular, orthopedic trauma, general surgery, robotics, urology, and ENT
• Travel nursing experience preferred (travel nurse / OR RN jobs)
• EPIC EMR proficiency
• Scrub and circulate experience; primarily circulating role
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Completion of Verbal De-escalation training (Welle, CPI, or PMCS) prior to onboarding
• Negative 14-panel drug screen required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Must have own vehicle
• Must permanently reside outside of excluded NY counties (see full job posting for details)

Key Responsibilities — Surgical RN / OR RN

• Assess, plan, and implement perioperative nursing care for surgical patients before, during, and after surgery
• Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment and follow perioperative safety protocols
• Provide clear pre- and post-operative patient education and discharge instructions
• Monitor patients’ physical and emotional status throughout the surgical continuum
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team
• Primarily function as a circulating nurse; scrub nurse experience is highly valued
• Participate in a wide variety of surgical specialties (excluding cardiac and ophthalmology)
• Provide coverage in Labor & Delivery for C-sections as needed
