Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,970 – $2,110
- Location: Tulsa, OK 74133 — Tulsa nuclear medicine jobs / Oklahoma nuclear medicine technologist
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/11/2026 – End: 8/10/2026)
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour (07:00 – 15:30)
- Hours per Week: 40
- On Call: Rotational weeks for emergency cases; approximately 1 weekend per month
- Patient Census: 8–10 per day
- Scrubs: Royal Blue or Khaki
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) — PET/CT technologist or general nuclear medicine experience
- Competency in PET and general nuclear medicine studies (excluding cardiac studies)
- Required Certifications: NMTCB and PET certification
- BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Valid Allied license in Oklahoma or Compact license (Oklahoma licensure required for onsite work)
- Experience with Siemens PET/CT and Siemens or Philips nuclear medicine cameras preferred
- Epic (or similar) charting system experience preferred
- Ability to float to like units as needed
- First-time travelers and experienced travel Nuclear Medicine Technologists are welcome to apply
Key Responsibilities
- Perform PET and general nuclear medicine studies (excluding cardiac studies) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist / PET/CT technologist
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot Siemens PET/CT and Philips nuclear medicine cameras
- Conduct SPECT and nuclear medicine studies including whole body, bone, brain, liver, renal, and other diagnostic imaging procedures
- Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals following radiation safety, facility protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain radiation safety procedures and safe handling of radioactive materials
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency cases as scheduled
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (radiology, pharmacy, nursing, and rapid response) to deliver high-quality patient care
- Document procedures and patient information accurately using Epic or other electronic charting systems
- Float to similar units as needed based on facility requirements
