• Duration: 14 weeks
• Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7p / 7p-7a); variable schedule, every other weekend, holidays, and 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN license (required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA/RQI only)
• NIHSS certification
• Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire
• Ability to provide care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Computer literacy; experience with Microsoft Office and EMR systems preferred

ICU RN Responsibilities (Critical Care Nurse)

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to ICU patients across the lifespan
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care and critical care interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, case management) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Demonstrate proficiency in critical care procedures and ICU protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Model professionalism, effective communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Uphold patient safety, dignity, and respect for all patients and colleagues
