Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC Travel Nurse in Midtown Atlanta, GA. 13-week travel contract, 12-hour day shifts, estimated pay $1,710–$1,800/week. Join our healthcare team delivering long-term acute care, rehabilitation nursing, and patient-centered PCU-level care in the heart of Midtown Atlanta.

Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience (LTAC, PCU, or acute care experience preferred)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience; LTAC or select long-term acute care experience highly desired
Key Responsibilities (LTAC / RN)
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission consistent with LTAC nursing and rehabilitation nursing standards
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record in a timely manner
- Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and initiate discharge planning from admission to support transitions of care
- Communicate patient status and clinical changes effectively to ensure continuity of care and safe handoffs
- Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
- Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital guidelines, infection control, and safety protocols
- Contribute to unit team building and maintain a calm, supportive environment in a fast-paced LTAC setting
- Identify and pursue professional growth opportunities in LTAC, PCU, and rehabilitation nursing
