Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 – $2,270
- Location: Everett, WA 98201 (Must live outside a 50-mile radius — no local candidates)
- Travel Nurse Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/18/2026 – End: 8/17/2026)
- Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center — Cardiovascular/Thoracic OR
- Shift / Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:30 – 17:00); Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week period
- Call / Float: At least 1 weekend/month, 5 weekday evenings/month; may float to Main OR and like units
- Charting: Epic experience required
- Scrub Experience: Preferred but not required
- Parking: Facility paid
CVOR RN Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR RN or cardiovascular OR experience (preferred experience with CABG, valve procedures, vascular cases)
- Active Washington RN or Compact RN license (pending WA license accepted)
- BLS required; ACLS, CNOR, PALS, TNCC preferred
- Epic charting experience required (perioperative documentation)
- Ability to float between Main OR and other like units as needed
- Must provide at least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Responsibilities (CVOR / Perioperative Nurse)
- Assist with a wide range of cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, AAA, minimally invasive cardiac procedures, VATS, RATS, mediastinoscopy, pericardial windows, and carotid cutdowns
- Provide perioperative care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the cardiovascular operating room
- Act as scrub or circulating nurse as assigned; scrub experience preferred
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (surgeons, anesthesiology, perfusion, PACU) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Epic and adhere to perioperative protocols
- Participate in call coverage and float to Main OR and other like units as scheduled
- Follow facility safety standards, infection control, and surgical counts
