Job Details

• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) / Perioperative Nurse / Surgical Nurse (Travel)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,400 - $2,520
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 22, 2026 – July 22, 2026)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shifts: Evening shifts — option of five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week
• Call: Rotational call required (8-hour call shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; 30-minute response time)
• Setting: Acute care — Operating Room (12 OR suites)
• Charting / EMR: Meditech and EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (must meet state travel nurse licensure requirements)
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year recent OR RN experience (3 years as RN circulator preferred)
• Clinical experience across a variety of surgical cases: general, ortho, GYN, urology, ophthalmology, vascular, plastics
• Ability to take rotational call and respond within 30 minutes
• Willingness to float to Endoscopy as needed
• Facility-provided scrubs required while on assignment
• Must have a driver’s license with an address outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (travel nurse eligibility)

Primary Responsibilities

• Circulate in the operating room as an OR RN / OR circulator for a wide range of surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR techs to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting in Meditech and EPIC
• Provide perioperative patient care following hospital protocols and infection control policies
• Participate in rotational call coverage including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Float to Endoscopy when required and assist with unit orientation (2–4 shifts)
• Adhere to dress code and workplace safety standards
