• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Location: Big Sky, MT 59716 (Big Sky, Montana travel nurse opportunity)
• Assignment Duration: 14 weeks (June 8, 2026 – September 14, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, Thursday–Sunday
• Hours per Week: Scheduled for 36 hours per week with a guarantee of 40 paid hours per week.
• Employment Type: Travel / Contract RN
• Unit: Urgent Care / Emergency Room (ER / Emergency Department)

Job Requirements — Qualifications

• Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact RN eligible for Montana practice
• American Heart Association BLS certification (ACLS preferred but not required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Department, Urgent Care, or other acute care clinical settings
• Outpatient or walk-in clinic experience preferred
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Traveler requirement: must live at least 90 miles away from the facility

Responsibilities — ER Registered Nurse Duties

• Collect comprehensive patient data and perform focused assessments (triage and ongoing assessment)
• Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and prioritize care in the emergency setting
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to achieve expected outcomes
• Provide safe, high-quality emergency nursing care and promote patient and family-centered care
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and sound clinical judgment in an ER environment
• Participate in efforts to enhance nursing practice quality, safety, and clinical outcomes
• Contribute to peer development and provide clinical leadership when appropriate
